The Big Guys Square ~ 26 Feb 2013

Just in case it’s been a little extra, how shall we say... Mercury retrograde feeling out there... it’s not Mercury retrograde at all. The two largest bodies in the solar system completed a square with each other within the past twenty-four hours. I had intended to comment on this sooner, but I was deployed in Jupiter in Gemini activities: adding content to my emcee script for Norwac and completing upgrades to the Galactic Trilogy CD to add newly named bodies to the data pages and bulk up the compilation a bit more. (Oh, by the way, those who have purchased the Galactic Trilogy CD and for whom I have a valid e-mail address will receive update files soon. “How can you not want to be included in these updates,” asks Eris.)

So the most gravitationally significant bodies in the solar system occupying the communication, merchandising, pick pocket (or Internet scams), life logistics sign and the unlimited creative aspiration, spiritual upliftment, afraid of one’s shadow, forgetful, “where did I put that whatever” sign, argue with one another. Notice how slow the Internet sites you must rely upon for important information are running? How fun is it to get a new credit card posted on line? What about the ongoing battle of is this horse meat or cow? Or the embarrassingly stupid standoff in the United States Congress that might cause economic mayhem - how about that? Is doom the factual reality of the potential financial meltdown as disputed by dual parties per Jupiter in Gemini or total fear propagation as touted by the Sun in Pisces? In a few days, shimmering Venus, fresh in Pisces, will be close to squaring Jupiter herself as that fiscal deadline hovers over our heads. Will the hero ride in on a majestic stallion and whisk the economy ruling damsel off the railroad tracks in time?

Part of the argument that clogs up the psychic systems comes from a classic head-heart dilemma. Jupiter in Gemini is a clear proponent of thinking everything through to a crystal clear logical conclusion. Jupiter’s claim for the domination of logic and critical thinking is supported by the dwarf planets Ceres and Vesta, the centaur Thereus and Kuiper Belt Object Chaos (which may or may not imply the result of over-thought). The Sun’s swim through Pisces is in a 5K meter heat with Mercury (inconveniently retrograde), Venus, Chiron, Neptune, and the Trans-Neptunian Objects (not the made up ones, the real ones) Borasisi, Salacia and Teharonhiawako. See how the solar system is? Convoluted. No wait... it’s always in balance.

Note: Keywords for the centaurs and TNOs can be found on the Eris, Sedna etc. etc. link on the home page of my website. Scroll down.

Is there a solution for the lingering wrestling match of solar system heavy weights and their fan base? Yes, there is. Apply guttural discernment to determine what any situation, decision point, crisis, emotional bucket or whatever stands on your path and figure out what works best to resolve the situation. Will an emotional exploration yield the clearest result? Or will dot to dot logic processes best untangle the knot?

Really though, it would seem that a deference to Pisces works better. First, apply Neptune and Chiron to ensure than any sense of not ready, unworthy, insufficient or less than has been wiped clean from the psyche. If not, spend some time ensuring that no sense of inadequacy leads to a self-sabotaging decision-making process. As a writer, if you get a review from a professional reader that says you suck, does that overshadow the runner up placement the same work received in a contest? Should you believe the cynical reviewer’s opinion of the Oscar show, or should you rely upon what you felt as you watched it? Should you believe that economic doom hinges on this week’s potential sequester in the United States and the domino effect in world economy or should you go on doing what you must to expand your efforts in life?

Get in there. Trust your instincts based upon a clear belief that you have a right to assert your talents in life. Anything else would be deciding that you can do nothing in life for the three weeks because Mercury is retrograde... and then that pesky shadow zone before and after. Right, now we can’t have any of that. People cannot stop engaging in life because of transits, now can they?

No! People must engage life full time, applying experience and wisdom to the transits while gleaning guidance morsels from the sky above and advancing in life to see how it shakes out.

Says Jupiter in Gemini and his fan base in the twins: Sort the facts. Pick accurate data. Unsubscribe from polling sources that skew results based upon subtle biases. Avoid being influenced by public opinion. Shun your part in apathetic collective consciousness. Cull your social networking. Text in full words (Jupiter likes full words and despises abbreviation. Is that true? I’ve never heard that before, but I believe it) to avoid mixed up communications. When you know your statement was not taken in by the person staring at you with glazed over eyes, clear it up. Go direct with sentences. Avoid preambles before and emotional appendices after important statements.

The Sun in Pisces, even more significant than Jupiter he may be so bold to add, and his school of celestial following fish demand: Get emotionally clear. The old axiom, “Before the eyes can see, they must be incapable of tears,” applies. Cry it out. Feel it fully. Avoid the urge to listen with the eyes. Take a little extra time to smell vibes. Trust your belly barometer.

Above all, contend those bodies convening in Pisces, create, create, create. Use the inspiration of this amazing sign to make something out of all random thoughts, quips and conjectures courtesy of stuff in Gemini. In the next six weeks or so, Mars, the Sun, Venus and Mercury move on from Pisces into Aries. Starting March 12th with Mars marching into Aries, extra rich and potent by virtue of rulership, it’s time to get your game on. Come out with closeted inspiration and reveal it to the eyes of the world. Show your stuff... and as the Sun joins Mars, strut your stuff. Venus demands that the merit of your inspiration be seen. However, in order to monetize when transits in Taurus commence later in the season, your stuff must be seen and even before that, conceived.

Get rid of inner quibbling. Balance deliberation with discernment. And if coming up with an inspired tale to tell, apply the Gemini planets to locate the theme, plot, characters and acts.

Maybe remember one final thing in this fecund window of collective fertility. Saturn is the backbone of creativity. It’s hard work to grab a whisper from thin air and work it into the world. And with Saturn in Scorpio and all the Pisces influences percolating, it’s all likely to move more smoothly than you might think. Tweak and tuck as required for the perfect psychic fit. But work it.
